This young man is “an Indian Yogi in a French Body”. Such were the very words pronounced by Shri Dhyanyogi Madhusudandasji Maharaj, the first Guru (spiritual master) of Swami Jayramdasji, after their first meeting in Rishikesh in 1974. Swamiji, though born in France in 1954, made his entire spiritual journey in the holy land of India. After a lot of hardships and adversity, he became a Sadhu (a renouncing spiritual seeker) under the enlightened guidance of his Guruji and began his Sadhana (spiritual search) towards the realisation of God within.

In the last four decades, he came across lot of Sannyasis, Gurus and spiritual seekers and leaders of many parts of India. After continuously interacting and observing them carefully all along this period, Swamiji gives us in this little book his thoughts and reflections about them and about the condition of Hinduism as he perceives it today.
